After having a career in New York City garment district for over 3 decades. C.L. Irick challenged herself to step out on her own re-envisioning the design of the baseball cap and the women wearing them. This season collection named "Butterfly Dreams" was inspired by the angelic freedom of what butterflies represent.

Since charlotte & blondell inception, the luxury accessory brand has maintained a mysterious and impressive reputation. Highly based on their soft creations and modern day approach to minimalism. With the release of one and only one subject per season, zero advertising, zero social media and no stockist, they managed to protect the brand while building a very impressive following.
In today's retail landscape where luxury brands are forced to rely on social media engagement, influencers and press, c&b shuns it all and still manages to hold its own. In the years I've been covering c&b success, the interest surrounding the brand among many fashionistas and its customers has been consistent with the caption "if you know, you know"!
While other brands provide more seasonal flourishes or hire celebrities to bring in some clout, c&b keeps being c&b doing what they do best...changing the narrative all while making women feel fun and polished wearing their baseball cap.
